Scope and Contents
This collection contains clippings of writings by or about Dominique Rouquette (published as François Rouquette) and Père (Father) Adrien Rouquette (often identified as Chahta-Ima, a name given to him by the Choctaw Indians). The majority of the pieces are in French and cover religious topics; however, Series II contains articles about taxes and other local events from unknown publications. Two original pieces contemplating religion and written in French are included in Series II, but the author and origin are unknown.
